On Friday 15th October, 2021, ConnectEd Partnership presented several staff and Megan Morgan (Year 9) with rainbow trophies.

ConnectEd Partnership works across Wolverhampton schools helping with teacher training, pupil development and strive to uphold their mission to improve outcomes from their Wolverhampton education.

Staff at St Edmunds (Miss Rainey, Mrs Wilcox, Mr Harris, Mrs Llewellyn, Mrs Halvadzic, Mrs Hynes, Mr Perkins, Miss John, Miss Buckle, Mr Endean, Mrs Watts-Robinson and Mr Reynolds) had trophies delivered and a citation for their fantastic work supporting the pupils of St Edmund’s through the challenging academic year that was 2020 – 2021.

They have been a real credit to the academy and should be very proud of their work. The pupils of St Edmund’s are lucky to have them amongst the staff of the academy.

Mr Selvey and Megan Morgan received rainbow star awards for their efforts during the academic year, their extra efforts being recognised for the help, support and advice they provided.

Megan was especially recognised for her efforts in the year group and physical education where her guidance for other pupils was outstanding. She was a rock for many others and provided more for other Year 9 pupils than she realises. Constant selfless acts that kept others motivated and happy. Thank you for your care Megan!

The best thing about the academy is that we know that this work will continue as it is embedded in our ethos.
