Several of our Year 10 and Year 12 Art and 3D Design students recently stepped into the magic with an unforgettable visit to Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter. From the moment they arrived, students were immersed in the incredible world of Harry Potter, exploring iconic sets, intricate props, and the craftsmanship behind the films.
Throughout the day, students discovered how talented designers, artists, and engineers transformed imaginative ideas into fully realised environments. They gained first-hand insight into the creative processes behind set construction, prop making, special effects, and model design.
The experience sparked new ideas and encouraged students to think creatively about how they can apply professional techniques to their own coursework. It also opened their eyes to exciting career pathways within the creative industries, from film production to design and engineering.
Most importantly, the trip was thoroughly enjoyed by all—a memorable and inspiring day that will continue to influence their work and ambitions moving forward.
Thank you to Mrs Sehera, Mr Corns and Ms Flynn who attended the trip.
