Everybody knows how important St Edmund’s support staff are to our community, however during the times of COVID,  they have risen to unprecedented challenges every day.

Three staff in particular have been on the “front line” during the pandemic, ensuring every pupil is safe and every pupil has the resources they need to learn from home. Mrs Hazeldine (Principal) says,

“Mrs Curtis and Ms Harding have been, quite simply, amazing. They have worked beyond their usual hours, carrying out a range of tasks not usually associated with their working roles.  They have taken on each task with courage, warmth and generosity of spirit.  Our wonderful lead first aider Mrs Baker has also worked tirelessly to care for all of our students and staff,  offering reassurance and guidance at every stage.”

Christmas bouquets were delivered to all three staff with thanks from the Governors, Staff and Students of St Edmund’s Catholic Academy.
