
Today, Eco Club proudly joined forces with Friends of Smestow Valley and Wolverhampton City Council to take part in “The Great Big School Clean”, part of a nationwide campaign led by Keep Britain Tidy.
Working together in the Compton Park area surrounding the Academy, our pupils collected an impressive seven bags of rubbish—much of it plastic that could pose a serious threat to local wildlife.
Students from Year 7 through to Sixth Form approached the task with enthusiasm and dedication, demonstrating a strong commitment to protecting their environment. Their efforts put into action our Catholic Social Teaching principle of “Care for Creation”, showing how small actions can make a meaningful difference in our community.
