Today we celebrated the launch of our new Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, St Gabriel the Archangel, with all 64 school coming together through a live-streamed Mass to welcome in the new Trust.

St Edmund’s students and staff  joined our wider family in the prayer of St Gabriel as we celebrated the archangels, who are considered chief angels of the highest order.

Our family of schools were united together. ‘Forming pilgrims of hope with kind hearts, questioning minds, a thirst for knowledge, and a hunger for justice.’

This was a unique day in the life of the archdiocese, the wider parishes and in Catholic Education who work for our children, sharing the good news of Jesus.

Our new Catholic Multi-Academy Trust is dedicated to Gabriel the Archangel and is a special part of God’s family with 22,000+ pupils, 3,130 dedicated staff and hundreds of governors and partners.

“Listen with love and walk forward together, one community of faith, learning, and  messengers of hope. We are forming pilgrims of hope with kind hearts, questioning minds, a thirst for knowledge and a hunger for justice.”
