At key stage 4 and 5 you will teach the newly developed BTEC ICT. We operate our own pay policy allowing accelerated pay progression for exceptional teachers and offer an attractive relocation package. More details can be found on the vacancies page. |
Tettenhall and District Horticultural Society judges have declared St Edmund’s win Highly Commended in the Best School Garden Competition 2016.
Mrs Rous, our retired science teacher, works tirelessly with our Gardening Club members to ensure our garden continues to flourish.
The Academy was judged on cultivation and freedom from perennial weeds, children’s knowledge, enthusiasm and involvement and the quality and variety of planting.
The judges were very impressed by our small and well maintained garden, how we use our herbs in our food served to our students and our home made compost used in our vegetable beds.
Huge congratulations to our Sixth Form Charity Team for raising over £170 for Macmillan Cancer Support with their cake sale on Friday. Many thanks for all your generous donations and amazing cakes, and a special mention must go to ‘star baker’ Sam from our Catering Team for her wonderful St Edmund’s themed cupcakes.

6th Form Prefects will be holding a cake sale this Friday to generate funds for Macmillan who provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support and aim to make sure no one suffers cancer alone.
With over 2.5 million people in the UK living with cancer, our students decided they need to help so they have organised a cake sale so the whole school community can be involved in generating much needed funds.
Cakes will range from 20p up to 50p; every bit helps.
Congratulations to Sixth Former Adria Dongo Munoz for achieving a Silver Award in the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge, putting him in the top 14% of over 7000 entries. Adria hopes to go on to study Chemical Engineering at Cambridge next year.
