Year 8 students had the opportunity to compete in small groups this week, building the highest tower with plasticine and cocktail sticks.

This hands-on experience helped teach structural principles, material properties, and the engineering design process.  The challenge generated an exciting conversation, excellent teamwork, and thought-provoking problem-solving.
