Congratulations to St Edmund’s Year 9 boys’ indoor athletics team for qualifying and representing Wolverhampton in the Black Country Indoor Athletics Championships.

The team performed exceptionally well. Star performances included first place for Omoegbele Owanlon in a superbly paced 6-lap race and second place for Ralph O’Connor in his 2-lap race.

Ralph and David Olanrewaju then went on to gain second place also in the 8-lap Paarlauf Race.

These, together with some great field events, placed the overall team in 4th position.
