I am delighted to welcome you to St Edmund’s Academy: our work, our faith and our values.

St Edmund’s is an aspirational learning community committed to the personal, spiritual and academic growth of all young people in our care. We are guided by our patron Edmund Campion “To Love & Serve the Lord” and this is felt in all aspects of our day to day lives. Our young people follow CARE values (Calm-Aspirational-Respectful-Engaged) by working hard, respecting themselves, their community and the world around them. Our students acquire knowledge, skills and academic excellence not simply for their own personal advancement, but with an awareness of how this will benefit their community and the wider world.

We have a long tradition of academic excellence and pastoral support. All of our teachers, teaching assistants and pastoral staff are highly qualified and caring professionals who are relentless in their pursuit of the best possible outcomes for our students. They are supported by excellent resources, facilities and integrated technologies to ensure all of our students can access a truly world class education.

Of course, what makes St Edmund’’s special is the time we devote to developing the whole person and so alongside our academic accomplishments you will find distinguished sporting, musical, creative, artistic, technological and scientific endeavour; established links with businesses and the world of work and the active support of local, national and international charities.

We welcome into our community all who share our vision, and who will actively support our aims and values as a Catholic Academy.
