In November, Henok Haile and Kacper Kolasa from Year 13 represented the school in the British Physics Olympiad. They competed against 2,300 students from 393 schools in the United Kingdom to answer questions designed to stretch and challenge the top young physicists in the country.

Every question required a different perspective to answer it and was designed to help students develop the application of knowledge skills they will need on a university science or engineering degree.

We are pleased to announce that Henok was awarded a Commendation and Kacper a Bronze II certificate. Very well done to both students for choosing to participate and achieving these results.
